The ZDSS series top-mounted three-shaft elliptical thickness vibrating screen is suitable for screening hot sinter, cold sinter, and flux in the metallurgical industry, ore grading in the mining industry, grading, dewatering, and de-medium operations in the coal industry. It is an ideal replacement product for existing large and medium-sized vibrating screens and imported equipment.

During the material screening process, when the material layer is too thick, the screening capacity of the screen surface appears insufficient; when the material layer is too thin, the screening capacity of the screen surface appears surplus. Constant thickness of the material layer can use the surplus to make up for the deficiency, fully utilizing the potential of the screen surface. Therefore, the screen box is designed with three sections of screen surfaces with different inclinations according to the principle of constant thickness screening. The screen surface at the feed end has a large inclination angle, and the material moves faster, which is conducive to the rapid equalization of material particle thickness, allowing the material to stratify quickly and compare with the screen apertures to complete screening. The screen surface at the discharge end has a small inclination angle, and the material moves slower, allowing particles that are difficult to screen to fully compare with the screen apertures for thorough screening. Through the characteristics of screen surfaces with different inclination angles, the material particles quickly achieve constant thickness and compare with the screen apertures for thorough screening, greatly improving screening efficiency.

The synchronizer is a specially designed gearbox that causes the three sets of eccentric blocks on the three-shaft vibrator to rotate synchronously according to the designed phase angle difference. Through involute gear transmission, the elliptical motion trajectory formed by the resultant exciting force of the three sets of eccentric blocks is accurate and reliable, stabilizing the working state of the vibrating screen. The synchronizer adopts a symmetrical structure with one input shaft and three output shafts, facilitating installation and use.
Working Principle and Structure

The main structural features of the ZDSS series top-mounted three-shaft elliptical thickness vibrating screen: (1) The vibrator is installed on the upper part of the screen box, with sufficient distance between the vibrator and the screen surface. It can be used for screening high-temperature materials, facilitating the design and installation of heat insulation devices, greatly reducing heat transfer from high-temperature materials to the vibrator, ensuring the life of the vibrator; (2) Maintenance and repair of the vibrator are more convenient, which can shorten downtime.

The design of the screen box of the ZDSS series top-mounted three-shaft elliptical thickness vibrating screen adopts the principle of constant thickness screening. The screen box uses three sections with different screen surface inclinations. The inclination angles of the three screen sections decrease sequentially from the feed end to the discharge end, making the material layer thickness approximately equal on each section of the screen surface.

Under the exciting force of the vibrator, the screen box of the vibrating screen moves in an elliptical trajectory. The material on the screen surface obtains energy from the vibrating screen surface and performs a throwing motion. Elliptical constant thickness screening is conducive to the forward conveying, stratification, and screening of materials on the screen surface. Therefore, compared with circular vibrating screens and linear vibrating screens, it has larger processing capacity and higher screening efficiency. With the same processing capacity and screening efficiency, the elliptical constant thickness screen has a smaller screening area, which can save investment.

The two vibrators are mechanically synchronized by a synchronizer, which not only enables the vibrating screen to obtain stable vibration parameters but also allows appropriate adjustment of the vibration direction angle according to site needs, adjusting the length of the major and minor axes of the elliptical motion trajectory and the ratio between them.
